Revolutionary News in the World of BRIMO Party Tents
The world of professional party tents is constantly evolving. We are introducing innovations that define a new standard on the market. We have improved the chemical composition of polyester canopies with a PVC layer. Thanks to a radical reduction in recycled components (using so-called virgin PVC), the fabrics are more flexible, more resistant to cracking in frost, and offer a longer lifespan.
Changes have also affected the structures. The surface treatment of steel frames now uses innovative thermoplastic coatings for higher abrasion resistance, while aluminium profiles have undergone an improved anodising process. These practical innovations guarantee that your tent will handle the demanding conditions of any event.
Why invest in new models?
Our offer is expanding not only with new colours but primarily with modern material technologies. Increased UV stability and 100% waterproofing are now a given. Follow our news and be assured that your pop-up gazebos will always be presentable and ready for professional use – whether it’s a garden party, a promo event, or markets.
Practical tips and advice for using party tents
Proper use and maintenance of the tent are key to its longevity. Whether you are looking for ways to safely anchor the tent on concrete or how to properly winterise the canopies, in the following lines we bring you proven procedures directly from the experts.
1. Safe anchoring: Do not underestimate the power of the wind
Many customers mistakenly believe that the weight of the steel structure alone is enough to hold the tent. The truth is that a party tent acts like a sail on a boat – it catches the wind. For 100% stability, it is necessary to always anchor the tent.
On a grass surface, we recommend using anchoring pegs and guy ropes that fix the tent at a 45-degree angle. If you are setting up the tent on concrete or paving where drilling is not possible, sandbags filled with sand or water weights are essential. Correctly weighing down each leg of the tent is the only guarantee that your event will run safely even in the event of a sudden deterioration in the weather.
2. Maintenance of canopies: How to prevent mould
The biggest enemy of polyester fabrics with a PVC layer is not rain, but improper storage. The golden rule is: Never pack the tent away while the canopy is wet or damp.
If you must pack the tent during rain, it is crucial to open it again at home within 24 hours and let it dry thoroughly. Moisture trapped in the cover causes mould growth and degradation of the protective layer within just a few days. When cleaning, do not use aggressive chemicals or high-pressure cleaners (power washers), which could damage the UV stabilisation and the waterproof coating. Lukewarm water and mild soap are sufficient.
3. Year-round use vs. extreme conditions
Our BRIMO party tents are designed as a year-round solution, but it is important to distinguish normal weather from extremes. While rain, frost, or sun will not harm a quality structure, in strong winds (above the limit specified by the manufacturer) or heavy wet snow, we recommend taking the roof off. This will prevent mechanical overloading of the scissor cross-bracing and extend the life of the tent by years.
Frequently Asked Questions about tent use (FAQ)
Can I set up the pop-up tent on my own?
Yes, smaller sizes like 2x2m, 2x3m, or 3x3m can be set up by one person in 1 minute thanks to our system. For larger sizes (3x4.5m and more), we recommend the assistance of a second person for safety and comfort. However, the system of automatic locking of the structure makes assembly significantly easier even for beginners.
What should I do if a leg or cross-brace breaks? Do I have to buy a new tent?
Definitely not. That is the main advantage of branded tents from BRIMO. All connections are screwed, not riveted. This means that you can replace any part (leg, cross-brace, foot) at home with a regular screwdriver in a few minutes. We have a complete stock of spare parts for all models we have ever produced.
Are the tents suitable for cooking and barbecuing?
Yes, but with caution. For food stalls and public events, we recommend choosing our models with reduced flammability treatment. Always ensure sufficient ventilation and a safe distance of the heat source from the tent walls.
