HDPE with a low share of recycled material
The seat and backrest are made of UV-stabilised polyethylene (HDPE) with a low recycled content. A higher share of virgin material means stronger, more flexible plastic that does not crack on impact or with frequent folding. Cheap chairs with a high recycled content tend to be brittle.
The plastic is resistant to UV radiation, moisture and water, does not fade and has an anti-slip finish. A wipe with a damp cloth is all it needs.
Powder-coated steel frame
The load-bearing frame is made of steel with a high-quality powder coating. Powder coating forms a thicker, harder layer than ordinary paint and better resists scuffing during folding, knocks and moisture. The chair stays sturdy even during long periods of sitting and holds 130 kg.
